PPC$-$ Situated Learning Assignment

The $10$ Operation Management decisions are shaping the business environment. In the course PPC$,$ the essence of each decision is realized. The assignment is intended for deep study of few decisions of OM related to your organization. It is expected that all the OM decisions should be covered by the batch. The students may group $(4$ members$)$ together to choose any one assignment topic. The group can take any $10$ OM decision and do the detailed study related to considered OM decision and prepare the assignment.

Students may choose any one of the following OM decision as given below:

Design of goods and services

Managing quality

Process and capacity design

Location strategy

Layout strategy

Human resources and job design

Supply chain management

Inventory management

Scheduling

Maintenance

A detailed background study is expected. It should be data driven approach. Data collection method, application of tool$/$software and results should be elaborated. Students needs to propose the solution$/$suggestion from their prospective towards the problem.
