Practice Test for the Skills Based Assessment Final Exam $-($RH$124-9)$

Instructions:

The Skills Based Assessment Final Exam counts for $19\mathrm{.}5\backslash \%$ of your overall grade in IST$190.$ The Skills Based Assessment Final Exam has five parts.

The purpose of this Practice Test is to show you in advance how the real Skills Based Exam is designed, since the SBA Final Exam is submitted differently than our Unit Assessments in IST$190.$

You must study the Labs in the Skills Based Exam Review Sheet to be ready to take the real exam. This practice test simulates two of the five parts on the real exam.

Complete both parts of this Practice Test for the Skills Based Assessment Final Exam. Each part of this practice test counts for $50$ points for a total of $100$ points. Check to make sure you have completed all the deliverables listed for each part. Once you have completed this practice test, shutdown the virtual server.

Setup Prep for Exam:

$1.$ If you have not already done, download and install the Rocky Linux virtual machine your instructor posted for IST$190$ practice and for the IST$190$ Skills Based Exam; refer to Lab $12-0$ in our Blackboard class for instructions

$2.$ Log in as root on the Rocky Linux virtual machine installed on your local computer; the password for root is redhat

$3.$ Open a terminal window and run the following commands to create a new user named practicetest with the password redhat:

useradd practicetest

passwd practicetest

Changing password for user practicetest.

New password: redhat

Retype new password: redhat

$4.$ Log off as root

$5.$ Login as practicetest, the password is redhat

$6.$ Begin Part $1.$
