Your presentation will demonstrate your expectations and identified gaps in knowledge pertaining to:
Possible research methods and sources of information (see below).
The nature of work at the company.
The company organisational structure and culture.
Knowledge and skill requirements for employment in an identified engineering job role or roles.
The use of technology at the company.
The workflow, processes, duties, and responsibilities of an identified engineering job role or roles at the company.
Relevant sources of information for this research include:
Company website
Social media
News reports
Job descriptors (recruiting)
Review sites (former clients or employees, reliability can be tenuous)
Company publications and reports
Products
Emails
Phone calls
Site visits
I Deliver a 9-11-minute recorded video presentation (strict time limit).
I The requirements are as follows:
II Submit your slides .pdf format (for on-campus or online slide-upload delivery), in the assessment submission box on Moodle before the submission deadline
III Record your 9-11-minute presentation using Loom video recorder (or similar another recorder like Screencastify is fine as well).
Paste the link of your recording within your assessment report.
Mark penalties will apply for going above or below the specified time.
