Prepare a bar chat according to my five year plans Goals for Your Career: In the next five years, I hope to be employed in the government of Ontario as a human resources manager. The reason Ontario is my choice is that it is the most populous province in Canada and has a varied and expanding work market, particularly in the HR sector. Statistics show that Ontario has a high need for HR specialists and that the province provides prospects for career advancement in this industry together with attractive compensation. ### Opportunities for Promotion and Senior Level Position: My goal is to work as an HR generalist for a respectable company in Ontario during the first year. I want to become certified in Human Resources Management in the next two to three years so that I can work my way up to an HR Manager or Specialist job in my company. My goal is to obtain sufficient experience in the fourth and fifth years to advance to the position of Senior HR Manager, or even higher on the corporate ladder to a Vice President of HR position. ### Education: Completed a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Human Resources Management specialisation. Recruitment and selection, performance management, employee relations, HRIS systems, training and development, pay and benefits are examples of job-specific skills. The following certificates are in effect: Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL), Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute, and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). ### Next Steps: 1. Within the next six months, look into and register in an accredited HR certification programme. 2. Attend events and join HR associations to network and forge ties with Ontario's HR professionals. 3. Assume greater responsibility in my existing position in order to demonstrate my abilities to my superiors and obtain more experience. ### Possible Obstacles: 1. Limited work experience in Canada, which could make it challenging to get a managerial job in the first year. 2. It could be difficult to communicate effectively with Canadian coworkers due to language barriers. 3. My poor understanding of Canadian employment laws and regulations could have an impact on how well I function in HR-related professions. 4.
