Initial support (part of original contract) could include further user training, on-site user support, technical support, bug fixes, developer errors fixes etc. On-going maintenance negotiated (for a fee eg 10% of purchase cost per annum) could include database maintenance, bug fixes, required updates (eg for tax changes), help desk etc.]
