Present a law or policy as an example to create in honor of a crime victim or as an approach to prevent future similar crimes against other victims. In your initial post make sure you include who the victim was, what the crime committed against them was, and what law/ policy was created to address it. Include your thoughts on the law/policy: is it effective? How could it be improved to be more effective? Provide suggestions for how this policy could be revised to address the harm experienced by these crime victims.
