Pre-trial Conference

A provincial court judge (but not the actual trial judge):

Will assist the parties in reaching an out-of-court settlement

Will suggest what the parties need to establish at trial.

Will determine the amount of time needed for the trial

Non-attendance may result: in pleadings being struck down & the case lost
