1. You have already chosen a primary source and an analytical approach and developed a working thesis statement in your Research Topic Discussion Board. Now, it is time to gather credible and reliable secondary sources. Search for and choose 3 articles that are the most useful in helping you support your thesis and develop your argument. 2. Select the Essay Planning Document or Outline Template provided to create plan for an essay that presents an interpretation of the selected primary sources and synthesizes information from the 3 selected sources for your annotated bibliography. Identify the supporting points that will guide each part of your argument and write topic sentence that links to the thesis statement. Find quotes or other useful information. For each supporting topic, primary and secondary sources in an annotated bibliography are used as evidence for each supporting topic. Your plan must include evidence from both the primary and three secondary sources selected for your annotated bibliography. Consider including one piece of evidence from primary sources and one Evidence from secondary sources in each body paragraph.

3. Use your planning to write draft of Research Essay that presents your interpretation of the selected primary source and synthesizes information from the 3 sources selected for Annotated Bibliography.
