This discussion focuses on the ethical challenges leaders encounter when leading virtual teams. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, many companies scrambled to enable their employees to work remotely. This required leaders to lead virtual teams when they were previously leading in-person teams. Box 9.3 The Ethical Challenges of Virtual Teams offers ways for leaders to encourage ethical behavior on virtual teams. These actions fall into four different categories of behaviors.

• Describe one tactic from each of the four categories that you would use as the leader of a virtual team.
• Explain the actions you would take to implement this tactic.
