Prior to submitting this assignment, make sure you have completed the associated Learning Activities and Practices Exercises in the module.

The final component of the persuasive speech will include a PowerPoint to go along with your persuasive research speech.

This PowerPoint should utilize the strategies that were discussed in Module 6, Microlesson #1. The PowerPoint needs to have a minimum of 6 slides, including a title slide, an introduction slide, one for each main points (3-5 main points), and a conclusion slide.

You are not required to show the PowerPoint within your speech video, however you can reference it during your speech. If you have the resources to show the PowerPoint on a screen behind you, then feel free to use it within the video.

Do not show the PowerPoint in your video if it obstructs the view of your body during the speech.

This assignment is worth 30 points and will be evaluated using the Persuasive Research Speech PowerPoint Rubric, which is available from the assignment submission area, as well as in the course Grade Center.
