kipsft and a concentrated live load of 75.0 kips placed at the middle of the bridge. Use
the given material properties for concrete and the idealized member and node number.
Determine the axial forces in the strut members of the bridge. (ii) Draw the shear and
moment diagrams in the bridge girder. (iii) The vertical displacement at mid-span of
bridge and the horizontal displacement at the rocker in the bridge. Ignore the self-weight
of the struts as well as contributions of shear deformations in the bridge girder.
