After structural engineers have designed a structure, they must put together a cost estimate for the structure. An important part of this process is to calculate the quantities of steel and concrete being used and apply a unit cost to each material. In a reinforced concrete wall, steel bars are embedded into the concrete to provide additional strength.

Your supervisor has given you this drawing for the construction of an earth retaining wall. Use Excel to calculate the quantities and costs of steel and concrete used in this design. You should use Excel formulas to perform all calculations and to present your results in the form of a table.

The length of the wall is $20$ feet. You can assume that the length of the reinforcement is also $20$ feet. The cross sectional size of each bar, as labeled, is given in the spreadsheet. The unit costs for steel and concrete are also given.

Note: an earth retaining wall has additional steel reinforcements that the ones considered for this problem. Only longitudinal reinforcement is shown here for simplicity.
