Problem 2. (30 points) A study was conducted to compare the gasoline performance of cars for 3 gasoline formulations. Formulation A was a type of an octane 87-octane without lead. Formulation B was a 91-octane unleaded gasoline and C was an 87-octane unleaded formulation with 15% ethanol. Four cars were used in the experiment, all of the same make and model. Each formulation was tested on every car. Using each formulation in the same car has the effect of eliminating (locking) car-to-car variability. The data (in miles per gallon) is shown below.
