A two$-$story plane frame structure is not braced $($sway frame$)$ as shown in Figure $1.$ All columns are $200$ UC $59\mathrm{.}5$ and all beams are $410$ UB $59\mathrm{.}7.$ All members are bending about their strong axis. Use $G=10$ for pinned base and $G=1\mathrm{.}0$ for fixed base.

Determine the effective length, $k,$ of all columns using the French Equations.
