In class and the reading you were given a general formula for writing a vector vec$(A)$ that looks something like: vec$(A)=A_x$hat$()+A_y$hat$().$

Explain to a $14-$year$-$old neighbor who has not studied any physics what this formula means and why it makes sense to represent an arrow or force $($your choice$)$ this way. Your explanation should include defining what each of the $4$ terms on right side of equation is and why they need to be included in the equation as they are.
