Question: Problem 3 : Air enters the diffuser of a ramjet engine at 5 0 kPa, 2 3 0 K , with a velocity of 2

Problem 3:
Air enters the diffuser of a ramjet engine at 50kPa,230K, with
a velocity of 2600kmh and decelerates to negligible velocity.
On the basis of an air-standard analysis, the heat addition is
1050 kJ per kg of air passing through the engine. Air exits the
nozzle at 50 kPa . Determine (a) the pressure at the diffuser exit,
in kPa .(b) the velocity at the nozzle exit, in ms. Neglect kinetic
energy except at the diffuser inlet and the nozzle exit.
