This problem is a critical thinking problem. I would like you to

determine the amount of uplift pressure $($due to water pressure$)$ on

the bottom of the dam. Lets assume the approximate length of the

dam $($left to right$)$ is $33$ m and assume $1$ m in and out of the page.

Please draw a picture of the dam and the uplift pressure on the

bottom of the dam as a distributed load
