Neglect side sway and use K=0.81(slenderness factor of the column)
REQUIRED:
Investigate the adequacy of the eccentrically loaded A36 steel column based on the following design methods:
(1) by LRFD
(2) by ASD using AISC-NSCP 2010 & 2015 and ASEP Manual
Write your conclusions for each design method using Fy=210MPa.
