Problem Description: There is a famous wreck off Gloucester, Massachusetts that happened in 1839. A ship named the Hesperus sunk after striking the submerged reef offshore of the harbor. The waters at the site of the wreck are approximately seven fathoms deep. You have been tasked to create a computer program that will calculate various depths in meters and centimeters from fathoms. The archeology department will use this calculator to record their exploration of the wreck. A fathom is 1.8288 meters or 6 feet in depth. Your program should prompt the user to enter in a value in fathoms, perform conversions on the measurement and print out a meaningful message with the converted value. NOTE: If you turn in anything but the source code for your program you will receive a zero for this portion of the exam! If you submit a program that will not compile or run you may receive a zero. You must submit your source code to the Canvas site before the due date/time or you will receive a zero. I will check for copied code so please do your own work. This is an individual effort programming problem. It is open book. Requirements / Rubric/ Points: To earn all the points for this assignment your program should use a defined constant to hold the depth of a fathom in either feet or meters and this should be used in your conversion expression. -5 points Your user data should be read into an appropriate variable to allow for decimal(fractional) no . Your output should use a minimum width specifier to keep the decimals inline as shown. I used a minimum width specifier of 9.-5 points I will test your program with various input, as shown below with examples of input and output. You may take artistic liberty and do not need to mirror my exact messaging and you do not need to simulate the command prompt for the osprey server. no8806914@osprey ~]$ ./a.out Enter in the depth in Fathoms to convert: 7 The depth of this point in meters is: 12.8016 The depth of this point in centimeters is; 1280.1600 [n09006914@osprey ~]$ ./a.out Enter in the depth in Fathoms to convert: 2.12 The depth of this point in meters is: 3.8771 The depth of this point in centimeters is: 387.7056 [n08806914@osprey ~]$ ./a.out Enter in the depth in Fathoms to convert: 8 The depth of this point in meters is: 14.6304 The depth of this point in centimeters is: 1463.0400 [n08986914@osprey -]$
