PROBLEM: We are offering an app that allows passengers to place a key chain chip of sorts around the handle of their luggage that connects to the American Airlines baggage pick - up app when it is time to get their luggage, or to find their luggage. Each time the

baggage claim employees receive luggage on the conveyor belt, they can scan the chip on the passenger's luggage, which will then alert the passenger that their luggage is coming out for them to receive. This method can also reduce the rate of lost luggage, when luggage is lost, employees can scan that chip and send a notification to its owner. American Airlines has the highest rate of lost baggage: 4.3 bags per 1,000 passengers and that is why we selected them for this world class app.
