When a car enters, an entry proximity sensor detects the motor on the entry station and triggers the process then turns the conveyor belt ON to move the car to the Soapy Water Sprinkler station 1. When proximity sensor on station 1 detects the car, the Soapy Water Sprinkler sprays the soapy water. On station 2(brusher station), when another proximity sensor detects the car and triggers ON the brusher and turn OFF the soapy water sprinkler. When the car enters the station 3(Clean Water Sprinkler station), another proximity sensor detects the car and triggers the Clean Water Sprinkler ON and sprays the clean water and turn OFF the brusher. On station 4(Dryer station), another proximity sensors detects the car and turns ON the dryer machine and turn OFF the Clean Water Sprinkler. After the dryer process ends, the
car will exit the Car Washing System for further manual process. Every time the exit gate proximity sensor detect car, the counter will be added and number of car processed is displayed on LCD screen. The sequences will continue until the stop push button is pressed. An emergency stop will turn OFF the processes when any trouble to each station or someone presses the emergency stop button.
TASK:
a. Develop the PLC Program and HMI visualization for the Car Washing System.
b. Make the complete project report based on the template. The report should include the Inputs/Outputs definition, logical sequence of operation, descriptive observation and analysis when the program executed.
