Process Gaps and Process Enhancements

Business organizations design different processes in their respective functional areas such as Production, Human Resource Management, Logistics, Administration etc. When organizations grow processes become very complex and less responsive to the needs of internal and external customers or stakeholders. In such cases organizations start to implement business process management tools such as process enhancements, process reengineering, business process reengineering or process transformations in evolving manner.

Identify any five key processes in your organization and answer the following questions.

1. Define process?
2. Explain each of the five key processes you identified in your organizations.
3. Explain the gaps documenting with as IS approach in each of the processes.
4. Propose process enhancements for each of the key processes.
