As a programme manager, it is crucial to be able to create and read operational plans to have oversight of your programme for M&E. These are some example activities from a real project to undertake research and write a book. There were three outputs in this project:

1. Output 1: Learnings in Africa on evidence-based policy documented

2. Output 2: Publications produced for wider use in the region

3. Output 3: Stakeholders from six African countries have reflected on experience and lessons

The set of activities to achieve Output 1 is shown below.
