Project 1 : For this project you will need to find a graph from a popular magazine, newspaper or internet site. Make sure to include a copy of the graph to your project. Answer the following questions completely

1. What does the graph tell us?

2. What is good about the graph? What do you like?

3. What is not so good about the graph?

4. What would you change to make it better?

The following questions may to help you determine information about the graph and answer the above questions:

1. Where did the data come from? Is it a reliable source?

2. When (time period) did the data come from? Is it relevant today?

3. Is the title explanatory? Is the graph labeled?

4. Are the colors/graphics meaningful or distracting?
