Project 2: ANOVA (35 points) A study examined the medical records of elderly patients for calcium in blood levels (in mmol/1). The data file CalciumLabs.imp contains the data. One purpose of the study was to determine if different laboratories yielded substantially different results. You will need to open CalciumLabs.imp. in JMP, and then use JMP to answer the following questions. Your assignment must be completed using JMP. Your assignment submission should not be handwritten, and the JMP output must be copied and pasted into your document. The document should be submitted as a pdf file uploaded to Moodle before 11:55 PM on the due date. We want to perform a test to see if the mean Calcium level is measured as significantly different for at least one lab when compared to another. To do this you will perform a One-Way ANOVA test in JMP. 1. (5 points) Use JMP to run the ANOVA test. Make sure to select displays for "Means/ANOVA", "Means and Std Dev", and "All Pairs, Tukey HSD" (for Compare Means). Copy and paste all of the output into your assignment document. 2. (5 points) Write appropriate hypotheses for the ANOVA test. 3. (5 points) Is the standard deviation condition for ANOVA satisfied? 4. (5 points) Write the test statistic. Round to three decimal places. 5. (5 points) Write the P-value (to four decimal places) and state the decision. Use 0.05 as the significance level. 6. (5 points) Interpret the results in the context of the problem. 7. (5 points) Use the Tukey pairwise comparisons to determine which pairs of labs (if any) have significantly different results for mean calcium levels. Use 0.05 as the significance level
