Project Description:

For this project, you will explain different leadership approaches used in an organizational setting and the importance of trust as an integral part of leadership. Refer back to Chapter 6 pp. 195 - 234 of the textbook as you answer the following questions.

1. Read through the article from Indeed 7 Examples of Leadership Challenges and How To Overcome Them.

1. Select what you think are the top three leadership challenges for organizations.
2. Discuss in your own words how each of them can impact employee motivation.
3. Go to Exhibit 6.6 about Leadership Styles (p. 218) in the textbook. Based on your understanding of these leadership style categories and theories, choose the leadership style that you think would best overcome each of the three leadership challenges you listed above. Provide arguments to support your choices.
4. Chapter 6 is also devoted to the concept of trust in leadership. Read the following article on the recent decline of trust in leaders, Why Trust in Leaders Is Faltering and How to Gain It Back and then answer the following questions:
5. In your own words, describe the significance of Integrity, one of the five dimensions of trust discussed in the textbook (pp. 219-222). in your opinion, why does integrity play a central role in the dimensions of trust?
6. Going back to the top three leadership challenges you selected above, explain how trust can be developed and maintained to overcome these three leadership challenges.
