Project $6-3$: Configure Security in Azure

Context:

Azure uses NSGs and ASGs to manage traffic to and from resources in a VNet. In this project, you'll explore how these tools relate to each other and how to configure NSG rules to allow SSH traffic.

Note:

In order for you to do this lab you will need to use the Azure Labs link in the $$Accessing Azure Labs$$ announcement on the Canvas home page. If you haven$$t already setup an account then you will need to setup a SKILLABLE account to login with. After you click the link for Azure Labs then click the 'Register with Training Key' button and then use the key provided in the Accessing Azure Labs Announcement on the home page. Then use your Green River email address to setup the Skillable user account.

Complete the following steps:

$1.$ In your Azure portal, create a VNet using the following details:

$$ Use the existing built$-$in resource group.

$$ Give it a $/24$ CIDR range, such as $192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0/24.$

$$ Add a subnet with a $/26$ CIDR range, such as $192\mathrm{.}168\mathrm{.}0\mathrm{.}0/26.$
