The goal is to develop a comprehensive Food Waste Reduction System to address

the pressing issue of food wastage in various sectors$,$ including restaurants, grocery

stores, and households. The system aims to minimise food waste, promote

sustainability, and contribute to a more environmentally conscious and socially

responsible community.

Food Guardian will be an online portal to solve the many issues related to food

wastage.

Key features:

Surplus Food Redistribution: Implement user friendly interface for listing

available surplus items. Businesses and individuals can register themselves to

list or share surplus food.

Dynamic Expiry Tracking: Integrate a system that allows users to input

expiration dates for perishable items. Provide automated notifications or

encourage timely consumption or donation.

Donation Coordination: Implement a mechanism for coordinating food

donations with local charities and community organisations. Include scheduling
