Civil 3d()
1- Calculate the number of lanes for the highway of a given data below (Model1 or Model2) according to the attached pdf file "Groups Data").
2- Draw the cross-section of the road in Civil 3d which should provide the lane width, and shoulder width as well as the median width (if exists), and finally the total width of the highway.
Note: you may reasonably assume the thickness of the Road layers for the pavement, Base course, and subbase.
3- print the drawing on a PDF file with a suitable scale, then copy the drawing on AutoCAD
For now, you can take the superelevation value as 2.5% just as an assumption.
Bonus: draw the cross-section on AutoCAD showing the same details without drawing all the layers (don't draw the base course and subbase thicknesses)
