Overview:
The project charter is the roadmap for the project completed in this course. It contains
information about the project timeline as well as milestones and the final deliverable. It
also assigns roles and responsibilities to each team member. While it is very important
to submit a complete and detailed project charter at the end of week one, it should be
noted that each team has the option to review and adjust their team charter as dictated
by the requirements of the project as it is in progress.
Instructions:
Each team will research the nature of a project charter. A good starting point is the
document found under resources. Based on their understanding of the nature and
content of a project charter, each team will prepare and submit by the end of week one
their charter that will guide them through this project. Students may either develop their
own charter or use any of the many templates that are freely available on the Internet
