1. Assignment Background and Description In order to complete this assignment successfully, you will need to research the projects that are being initiated by one of Ontario's cities. You will be assigned a city by your faculty. You will focus on projects that are being managed by the local city government. Your group will need to identify how these projects are being managed. Does the city have a PMO? Are the projects organized in a portfolio or program? Does the city have a vision or mission statement? Does the city have a strategic plan? What is the initiation context for each of the projects? 2. High-Level Requirements Vision/Mission Statement: Identify the city's vision and mission statements. Identify the city's strategic goals and objectives. If they do not have them, what would they look like based on their current projects? Portfolio, Programs, Projects: Identify the city's portfolio, programs, and projects. Map them out in a chart as depicted in figure 1-3 of the PMBOK, page 12. Deliverables A single MS Word document containing a "Title Page", a "Table of Contents" generated by MS Word, a Organizational Strategy Diagram", and a "Portfolio Summary" that provides details of each component. 4. Due Friday, July, 29th, 2022 Your assignment needs to be submitted in MS Word format, and must also include the Academic Integrity form.
