As pre-amble to the outline include a description of a Project, including Purpose and Goals.

The outline can be a standard APA or MLA formatted that presents high level things covered in the paper.

For instance:

Table Contents/Index

Executive Summary

Introduction

Goal(s)/Objectives (I might consider using the PMI Process Groups as key areas identified in the outline)

Define/Initiate

Planning

Executions

Monitoring & Controlling

Closing

Included in each section a summary of the key activities or events of the Project that happened in these parts of project and consider what Knowledge Areas of the PMI Model did you touch on

(e.g. Stakeholder, Scope, Cost, Schedule, Quality, Risk, etc.)

Close with Conclusions (how did it turn out, lessons learned, is the project deliverable working as designed).
