Senior management expects you to release a new printer that represents a significant improvement over your competzor's expected printer. By positioning the printer as a high$-$end, fully featured printer you will be able to price it significantly ligher while still maintaining market share. The schedule remains the same. making this a difficult goal to achicve.

The points available for meeting the scope goal have been increased and are significantly higher than for schedule or cost$.$ Target specs are clearly defined, well understood, and expected to remain stable throughout the project. Management has committed to providing stable access to resources during the project.

Specific Objectives

Target Scope: Level $4$

This will allow you to leaptrog the competitor's expected new product announcement and become the market leader. You will recehe $300$ points for delwering a printer wath the scope requested.

Target Schedule: Week $12$

This schedule will allow you to ramp up manufacturing and marketing soon enough to preempt the competitor announcement with one of your own. You will receive $125$ points for meeting your schedule goals and up to $75$ additional points for completing ahead of schedule.

Target Cost: $$40,000$

This will support a lean cost structure that will enable you to release the new printer with a good profit margin. You will receive $200$ points for meeting your budget$/$resources goals and up to $100$ additional poins for completing under budget.
