PROJECT ONE Project title: Affordable Housing Project Project description Many Ghanaians were shocked when they heard on 30 December 2011 about the failure and abandonment of the $10-billion housing project between the Government of Ghana and STX Engineering & Construction Limited of South Korea. The project consisted of the construction of 200,000 houses in Ghana in five years. The lack of continuity of projects by political leaders affected the success of Ghanaian government projects. it was observed that when another government especially from a different party come into power , it decided to abandon the project. there instances where a state official chaired a government project and also was the sole contractor and supplier of materials for the same project .your company has been contacted by the review committee of government to propose a permanent project solution to the menace.
