Research Assignment

Pick a legal topic such as the Family and Medical Leave Act or defamation.

You may chose any legal topic but it must be approved. Do slideshow on the legal topic. Each student will also present their topic. You may utilize MS PowerPoint or Google Slides. You may choose to use Westlaw, LexisNexis, traditional library resources, or secondary sources such as law review articles. Please pick a topic as soon as feasible and your legal topic must be approved by the Professor

Presentation

Your presentation must include the following:

1. At least ten slides including images, videos, or other media such as a QR code (you may be as creative as you like!)
2. Work Cited section (you may use Bluebook citations, but this is optional)
3. You must present your presentation via a video submission (you may use the Studio feature on Canvas) or you can chose to do three to five page "script" of your presentation.

Your Submission

1. A copy of your presentation (Google Slides or Excel or another electronic format) via file upload
2. A video or file upload of your presentation or "script" via file upload
