Project Scope: An urgent need has been identified in a poor residential suburb. It was realised that residents have to travel long distances in order to do essential shopping. The road travelled has become a hazard due to unruly taxi drivers that drive recklessly, hence putting innocent people lives at risk. Many accidents has occurred resulting in numerous lives been lost. The local government was instructed by parliament to approve the urgent building of a shopping centre in the suburb of the residents. Due to your excellent track record as a competent project manager, you have been appointed to project manage the project. There is no room for failure, including scope creep, time being exceeded or any budget overruns. Your reputation is on the line and any failure could result in detrimental consequences to your image. You are required to answer the following questions regarding the project that is intended to provide stakeholders, your organisation and your team with a thorough understanding of your project plan (Meredith et al., 2017.).

A great project manager, must be a strategic business partner fully vested in organizational success and be able to roll with inevitable setbacks. There are a number of demands that are unique to the management of projects. It must also be noted that the success of a project manager depends on how these demands are handled. Critically discuss these special demands as they are categorised by Meredith et al., 2017, and the relevance to your project.
