BURJ KHALIFA: REACHING NEW HEIGHTS

In the centre of Dubai stands the Burj Khalifa tower, the worlds tallest manmade structure. This impressive skyscraper, which reaches up to a record height of 828 m, is the focal point of the 500-acre mega-project 'Downtown Dubai' by Emaar Properties. This project redefined what is possible in the design and engineering of supertall buildings. The tower has won numerous awards, notably in the fields of innovation, engineering excellence and architectural design.

1.4 During the planning stage the project manager is expected to oversee the creation of a project quality plan which will be used to coordinate all project quality documents and assist to guide the projects execution and control. Provide a critical analysis of the main attributes that the project managers will need to be consider in putting together a project quality management plan. (20)
