Project Title: Intelligent diagnostic maintenance
Research Methodology: The vibration signals to be captured from the Machine Fault Simulator, where the accelerometer is used to measure the signals and a LabVIEW software is used to capture, display and save the data. Other parameters such temperature and process signals also can be captured using NI data collector. The data then to be preprocessed using Wavelet Transform methods like Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) to extract the required features to be then considered as inputs for the Al models, but before any feature extraction, the data acquisition will play the role of amplification and filtration to cutoff the unrequired noised frequencies. Genetic Algorithm (GA) can be used for the feature selection before forwarding to the Al model, and finally the features to be as inputs with the Multilayer Neural Network and Support Vector Machine. Final processing and classification of conditions to be implemented using MATLAB or through Python
