It would be helpful to search similar companies (i.e. Lady Foot Locker, DSW, and Famous Footwear. OR Cabela's, Scheel's and Bass Pro) to compare and contrast them, so search for similar products or services on each site. Write a two to three pages of content, (double spacing, 12 pt. font, 1" margins) summary of your analysis. Include the following topics: What websites did you assess and why did you choose them? Does the company have a search box for easy searches? If so, use it to locate an item. How easy or difficult is it to navigate through the website? Does the company offer any type of customer service on their site (such as a live customer service chat)? Is there a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) link? Utilize the list of suggestions on page 87 for more ideas as you evaluate the sites to determine if the sites are effective in terms of customer service. Use this list as a guide for things to look for but do not simply do the checklist for your project submission.
