Topic: Healthcare worker burnout is a serious problem in nursing, noticeable by elevated stress levels, emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization among nurses. This issue results in diminished job satisfaction and increased turnover rates and threatens the quality and safety of patient care. To address this dilemma, it is essential to promote self-care practices and address self-care shortages among healthcare workers. By utilizing the Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory as a guiding framework, nurses can implement targeted interventions and strategies to alleviate burnout and enhance job satisfaction. The ultimate goal is to have a healthier and more sustainable healthcare workforce, improving the overall quality of patient care.

Tasks

1. Create an annotated bibliography using the following guidelines:
   1. References should be in APA format.
   2. References should be in alphabetical order.
   3. Each annotation should be a new paragraph below its reference entry. Indent the entire annotation 0.5 in. from the left margin, the same as you would do for a block quotation. Do not indent the first line of the annotation.

• If the annotation spans multiple paragraphs, indent the first line of the second and any subsequent paragraphs an additional 0.5 in., the same as you would a block quotation with multiple paragraphs.
