provide 5 things you would change in this
The Proposal: The college, in an attempt to remove attendance barriers for single mothers, is considering the creation of an 8 AM to 5 PM daycare program where moms can leave their children while they attend classes. The service will be available at the Valle verde campus starting the fall of 2020. Female students will be asked to complete a registration form with the Child Care Center (CCC). The center will then review the form to make sure that the student is attending classes at Valle Verde, is in good standing with the college (tuition is paid, no parking tickets, and have no negative balances with the college) prior to approving the provision of care. Furthermore, children must be at least three years of age and no older than 12 years of age children who have a diagnosable mental health condition, a physical disability, or conduct issues will not be admitted to the CCC Moms will need to provide a snack or breakfast/lunch for their children. The proposed site for the CCC is the empty lot of land by El Futuro Dr. and Hunter Dr. on the cast-most part of the Valle Verde campus. The proposed size of the center is % acre. The two story building will house playrooms, classrooms, a reception area, and storage in the first floor. The second floor will have administrative offices, a nap area with beds, and a cafeteria where the children will be provided lunch. The proposed staff for the center shown in the organizational chart pictured below: See attached file for Organizational Chart The director is responsible for the day in and day out function of the center. Assistant directors are being divided into operations (the way the center runs, the administration part of the house) and Care (the way care services are provided to the children). The office manager will serve as supervisor to the custodial staff, the chefs, receptionists, and the administrative assistant. In return, the Care Manager will serve as supervisor for the shift managers and the care providers. The Director, Asst. Directors and Managers will work salary positions (daily, 8-5 PM schedules). The rest of the staff will work hourly schedules
