Provide a critique on how the process below can be improved.

I currently work for a business consulting firm in Rwanda. The organization manages several projects and has to choose project managers, team members, and other key stakeholders. When selecting project managers, the organization focuses on experience. The project manager is chosen among employees that have already demonstrated leadership skills. People who have proven to be proactive, good communicators, good problem solvers, good negotiators, and have good planning skills are mostly the ones that are selected to manage different projects within the organization.

When selecting team members, an assessment is done to evaluate the skills that are needed in that particular project and who among employees have the required skills. However, everyone in the team needs to have a teamwork spirit and be willing to collaborate with others to ensure the success of the project. When it comes to other stakeholders, the organizations employees are the first stakeholders given that they are always informed about the projects and asked to contribute in one way or another. Other stakeholders are selected based on the nature of the project. For instance, does the government need to be involved in the project? Which suppliers are needed? Will we need the media? Who are the sponsors? Which customers do we want to target? The company also evaluates who will be the competitors, because, for the project to be successful, it is important to take into consideration stakeholders that will impact the project positively, but it is also important to consider those that will impact the project negatively (Mindedge, 2020).
