1. Provide a description for a job based in the United States. The job description can be real, real but anonymized to mask the identity of the company, or found online as part of a job search advertisement. If it is not already, reformat it so that it clearly specifies a job title, job summary, job tasks, job context, job requirements, and KSAs.
2. Explain whether the job is exempt or not exempt from the FLSA.
3. Provide a description of the elective benefits. For pensions and health insurance, explain who provides the insurance (e.g. the contracted service provider). For perks, provide a description. If any of these are not offered, explain why not.
4. Evaluate how benefits at this organization compare with competitors, using specific benchmarks. Evaluate what this package says about the kind of person the organization tries to attract.
5. Evaluate a specific perk. Why would the employer offer this perk, instead of cash?
