Management concepts of integrity, authenticity, and virtues are widespread, with corporations giving rise to models of good governance aimed at construction (Brown, 2005). Emphasis on moral behavioral leadership is the interest in the code of business ethical standards. With virtues leadership, managers and entrepreneurs construct a good leader to portray morality, and by influencing others to do so, by acting with virtues leadership in both personal and professional behavior (Parry & Proctor-Thompson, 2002; Bouckaert, 2011; Pruzan, 2011). Virtues-based ethical standards in a business setting have levels regarding corporate responsibility, and the role it also plays in other areas, like religion, and in business ethics, helps to address work, develop ideas for business, giving particular attention to ethical culture. Organizational culture with high morality in its leadership enjoys several benefits for understanding independence with stakeholders, learning environment, respect and trust, cooperation, and responsibility and accountability (CRS corporate social responsibility).
Virtues-based leadership and governance are becoming increasingly relevant as ethics has drawn attention in various areas of work (MacIntyre, 1985). This level of ethics provides the realization of the potential of human beings to be able to achieve what is good for them and for others, which gradually develops relationships for the excellent (Hartman, 2011). Virtues with practical wisdom can build a bridge between people and values in their personal and professional lives, with courage and generosity, giving them the achievement of distinguished characteristics (Bertland, 2009).
With organization epistemologists, it is the qualities that enable an agent or collection to gain knowledge that support the effectiveness of the information presented to allow a change positively (Battaly, 2008). Epistemic virtues are concern with how individuals and organizations deal with information and turn it into knowledge to change the environment positively (Baird & Calvard, 2019).
