Production function describes the relationship between quantitative production factors, such as labor and capital. For example, I currently work in a company that processes visa applications for European countries. Every day, this company measures the production level of each employee. Each employee must report the production level at the end of each day. The company's objective is to maximize its capital through each worker's production level. Each employee must process at least 100 applications per day. The software that we use as an employee to report this level of production every day is Excel. In Excel, each employee creates a chart where we explain the date and the number of applications processed per day. In other words, the number of applications each employee completes dramatically affects the level of capital the company can produce.
