  • In your sample dialogue, include an example of what the client said to you and at least two simple reflections that you provided in the conversation.
• Explain at least two common barriers to active listening from TIP 35 and how you will work to overcome those barriers in your work with clients.
• Explain the importance of empathy to the therapeutic relationship.
