Public Relations Plan Proposal---client is: PETSMART 1. Description of the Client Please describe your client in detail to someone who is not familiar with it. Conduct thorough research about the individual or organization you chose as your client. Some things to consider: size, nature of product or service they offer, history, staffing, laws and policies it has to obey, markets and customers, budget, reputation, values, mission, goals, and so on. You are not limited to these suggestions; add as many findings as your research reveals. You may find some findings and not useful later, but it's still important to do good research. 2. Description of the Problem (or opportunity) to be Addressed Remember that a public relations campaign addresses a communication problem or opportunity. So what is the problem (or opportunity) you are trying to address for the client you chose? . Given what you learned from your research about your client, what is the problem (or opportunity) you will address in your PR plan? Why is it important to your client? Why is it important to act now? Please make sure the problem or opportunity you identify is one that can be addressed/remedied through a strategic communication campaign. Identify any background you can find about the issue and explain the importance. What started it? How long has it been going on? . Public Relations Plan Proposal---client is: PETSMART 1.
