Publishing a Research Article

I plan to contribute to the field of behavior analysis is by developing culturally responsive parent training programs. Cultural competency is essential to ethical practice in ABA. According to Fong et al. (2016), behavior analysts must "consider clients' cultural values and beliefs" in treatment planning. Similarly, the BACB (2020) stresses the importance of tailoring interventions to individual and contextual needs. Moreover, Conners et al. (2019) found that when parent training programs are adapted to meet cultural expectations, treatment adherence and outcomes improve significantly. This contribution will fill gaps in current practice and help build trust between professionals and underserved populations.
