Select a non$-$fiction book of your choice. The book should have a minimum of $200$ pages. $($Please don't look at the index!$)$

Write a short synopsis of the book so I will understand the content, in case I am unfamiliar with the book, which is likely.

Index the first $3$ chapters

The Chicago Manual of Style $$ has a lengthy chapter on indexing style and I would urge all of you to consult it$.$ This famous

reference book is available in almost any library and online.

Study the indexes in a number of books and decide on a format that you like and feel comfortable with.

Generate the index using SkyIndex or a word processor.

Note: Don't forget page numbers for your entries!! This is essential for a book index.
