Purpose: stephen hawking

Students will learn how to write a biography of a person's life by researching, organizing, writing and editing information located through various credible sources.

I - Students write on Stephen hawking biography about based on how that person has made a significant impact/positive difference/or profound change in the world. II - Students will be responsible for locating pertinent research information about their subject, as well as evaluating verifiable research sources (books, magazines, newspapers, websites) accompanied by documentation. Students will be required to hand in a completed Biography Research Final Project.

III - Students must research their subject using primary or secondary sources, or a

combination of both. Students must be certain as to the accuracy and credibility of the Internet sources used in the Biography Research Final Project.

IV - Students must organize the information gathered, and decide on the relevant information to be included in the Biography Research Final Project. Outlining, mapping, and summarizing the research information will help you decide how to present your biography.

Information can be divided into sections detailing the subject's life.

• Early childhood experiences
• Educational background
• Professional accomplishments
• Influence on society

V - Your Biography Research Final Project must be at minimum typed pages, double spaced, using 12 font, with one inch margins. You must add a Works Cited page (with a minimum of 3 - 4 sources) at the end of your Biography All of your research information must be paraphrased (use your own words). You may only use 3 - 4 quotes throughout your research paper. Delete word write a or double space
